Hustle!

There are two phrases that I see a lot that really bug me: Play BIG and Hustle.

I get tired even seeing the words.

This week we’ll look at hustle. Last week we looked at playing BIG.

Hustle
Unsurprisingly I hear this a lot on a podcast I love by a former pro athlete. And surprisingly I also come across it from someone who used to run a yoga studio.

To me hustle means always busy doing something. Always pushing something forward and making something happen in some aspect of your life.

If the last few months have taught me anything, it’s this: sometimes the biggest transformations are a result NOT being busy and NOT pushing for a result.

Without the down time I took in April and May I would not be working on the things I’m doing now.

And quite frankly, I don’t want to always be pushing something forward. That’s exhausting to me.

This doesn’t mean I don’t (or won’t) expand my comfort zone or that I only do things that are super flowing or easy.

It does mean that I recognize what does and doesn’t work for me. And pushing or hustling does work for me.

What’s your take on “hustle?” Something you love or something you’d leave behind?
