I took a break from blogs and doing lives due to family priorities and I’ve found it difficult to get back into the flow/habit/rhythm I had created for this prior.
There isn’t any magic pill or inspiration that hit to get back into that flow/habit/rhythm.
The only way to get started is to just start and trust that in that process it will get easier and the flow/habit/rhythm will return.
As I was thinking about this, I realized that a common piece of advice I hear shared would NOT work for me—I’d rarely start anything using this advice.
The advice is to have a few pieces already prepared before you start.
This looks like having a month of blog posts written before you publish your first blog, have several podcasts recorded before you share your first podcast, or any number of things like that.
This can easily lead to perfectionism, things taking longer than they need to, and it can prevent you from being able to quickly pivot when something doesn’t go quite the way you expected.
